What Is in SynoCell? 5 Steps to Read the Ingredient List
SynoCell has five listed ingredients per 2-capsule serving: ASU 310 mg, quercetin 310 mg, Boswellia extract 200 mg, hyaluronic acid 180 mg and black pepper extract 5 mg. It has no glucosamine or chondroitin. Other ingredients, the capsule shell and allergens are not published, so read your bottle.

Key facts
- A serving is 2 capsules. One bottle holds 60 capsules, which makes 30 servings.
- Five ingredients, five printed amounts, and no proprietary blend. Daily Value is not established for any of them.
- ASU 310 mg and hyaluronic acid 180 mg sit near the amounts used in small trials.
- Quercetin has no human joint trials. Black pepper extract is an absorption aid, not a joint ingredient.
- SynoCell contains neither glucosamine nor chondroitin.
- Not published: other ingredients, the capsule shell, an allergen statement, warnings, and the form of the hyaluronic acid.
- SynoCell is a dietary supplement, so FDA has not approved it, and it is no drug.
Step 1: What is the serving size, and how long does a bottle last?
Every number on a Supplement Facts panel is for one serving. For SynoCell, one serving is 2 capsules. Servings per container: 30. On the front of the bottle you see the name SynoCell, the line Move with freedom and ease, a count of 60 capsules and the words dietary supplement (SynoCell, product page).
So the maths is short. A bottle has 60 capsules. You take 2 a day. One bottle lasts 30 days. A 3-pack covers 90 days and a 6-pack covers 180 days.
Why this matters: if you read the amounts as "per capsule" you will halve every dose in your head. Half a serving means half of every amount. The product is for adults 18 and over.
Step 2: What are the five ingredients and their amounts?
Read down the panel. Each line has its own weight, so nothing is hidden inside a blend.
- Avocado/Soybean Unsaponifiables (ASU), 310 mg. A small oil fraction from avocado and soybean oil. It heads the ingredient list.
- Quercetin, 310 mg. A plant pigment found in foods such as onions, apples and tea, sold here in isolated form as an antioxidant.
- Boswellia serrata gum resin extract, 200 mg, standardized to 65% boswellic acid. It comes from tree resin, also called Indian frankincense.
- Hyaluronic acid, 180 mg. A sugar-like molecule your body already makes. It is part of joint fluid.
- Black pepper fruit extract sold as BioPerine, 5 mg. It brings piperine into the capsule, a compound added in the hope of better absorption.
Daily Value (DV) is not established. Botanical extracts and specialty compounds usually have no set daily amount. Nothing is wrong with that.

Step 3: How do the amounts compare with the research?
The label tells you what is inside. Research tells you what people took in studies. Put them side by side. Studies tested each ingredient alone, and no trial has tested SynoCell itself.
| Ingredient | Amount in studies | SynoCell label | How strong the evidence is |
|---|---|---|---|
| ASU | 300 mg a day, for as long as 3 years | 310 mg | A small benefit |
| Quercetin | As much as 1,000 mg a day in general studies | 310 mg | No human joint trials exist |
| Boswellia extract | 100-250 mg a day, using other extracts | 200 mg | Small, positive trials |
| Hyaluronic acid | 48-240 mg a day, in small oral studies | 180 mg | Small, mixed trials |
| Black pepper extract | 5-30 mg a day in supplements | 5 mg | Helps absorption; not for joints |
The two close matches are ASU and hyaluronic acid. A Cochrane review of four ASU trials with 651 people found pain about 8.5 points lower on a 0-100 scale, a small benefit of questionable importance (Cameron and Chrubasik, 2014). Oral hyaluronic acid results were small and mixed (Guadagna et al., 2018).
Boswellia is in a similar dose range, but the trials used other extracts, such as 5-Loxin and Aflapin, so the match is rough (Sengupta et al., 2008). For the full ingredient pages, see all five ingredients.

Some things a careful buyer would want are missing from the brand store, and we will not guess at them:
- Other ingredients, such as fillers or coatings: not published.
- The capsule shell, gelatin or plant-based: not stated.
- An allergen statement: none published, even though ASU comes partly from soy.
- Warnings and storage directions: not published beyond use only as directed.
- The form and molecular size of the hyaluronic acid: not published.
- A certificate of analysis: none posted. The seller's lot SC-26/SY-6168 and CoA reference SC-6168-26-SY are reference codes, not lab proof.
Your own bottle may show more than the brand store does. Read it, and keep it handy for your pharmacist. You can also email [email protected] with questions before you order.
Soy allergy?
Soy is a common food allergen, and ASU is made partly from soybean oil (MedlinePlus, Food allergy). Ask a clinician first. Severe reactions can be life threatening.
Step 5: What is not in SynoCell?
Searches often pair SynoCell with other names, so here is what the label does not list.
- Glucosamine and chondroitin. Neither is an ingredient. The 2026 ACR guideline summary advises against glucosamine and chondroitin products (ACR, 2026 OA guideline summary), and SynoCell is a different kind of product.
- Shellfish ingredients. No shellfish ingredient is named on the label. The capsule shell, other ingredients and the source of the hyaluronic acid are not published, so ask the seller if you have a shellfish allergy.
- Gluten-free or vegan claims. Not published. The brand lists no other ingredients and no shell type.
- A proprietary blend. There is none. Every amount is printed.
- Curcumin. None, so the well-known piperine and curcumin result does not apply to this formula (Shoba et al., 1998).
SynoCell comes as capsules. The sources do not describe a tablet, gummy or drop form.
What do the five ingredients add up to?
A clearly labeled five-part capsule. Two parts, ASU and hyaluronic acid, are near trial doses. One part, Boswellia, has small positive trials of other extracts. One part, quercetin, has no human joint trials. One part, black pepper extract, is a helper.
The bottle claims it supports joint comfort, promotes blood flow, supports cartilage and improves mobility. These are the seller's words. The NIH's complementary health center says ASU and Boswellia may give slight improvements that patients might not find meaningful (NCCIH, Osteoarthritis In Depth).
| Pack | Capsules | Lasts (days) | Price |

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What are the ingredients in SynoCell?
Per 2-capsule serving: avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU) 310 mg, quercetin 310 mg, Boswellia serrata extract 200 mg standardized to 65% boswellic acid, hyaluronic acid 180 mg and black pepper extract (BioPerine) 5 mg. Other ingredients are not published (SynoCell, product page).
What is SynoCell made of?
It is a capsule made from five listed ingredients: two oil and plant extracts, a tree resin extract, hyaluronic acid and a pepper extract. The capsule shell and any fillers are not published, so check your bottle.
Does SynoCell have glucosamine or chondroitin?
No. Only five ingredients are listed: ASU, quercetin, a Boswellia extract, hyaluronic acid and black pepper extract, so neither glucosamine nor chondroitin is inside. The 2026 ACR guideline summary advises against both (ACR, 2026 OA guideline summary).
Does SynoCell contain shellfish?
No shellfish ingredient is named on the label. The capsule shell, other ingredients, the source of the hyaluronic acid and an allergen statement are not published, so ask the seller at [email protected] if you have a shellfish allergy.
Is SynoCell gluten free?
Not published. The brand lists no other ingredients and no allergen statement. Read the label on your bottle, or email the brand before you order.
What lies behind the Daily Value not established line?
No official daily amount has been set for these ingredients. Daily Values exist for nutrients such as vitamin C or calcium. Extracts like ASU, quercetin and Boswellia have none, so the panel shows a double asterisk in place of a percentage.
Our view
This is a fair label in one way and an incomplete one in another. It prints every amount, which lets you compare each line with research and with your pharmacist's list. It leaves out the small print that matters to some buyers: the shell, the fillers, the allergens and the maker.
Read the five lines, check the gaps, and bring the bottle to your doctor or pharmacist if you take medicines. Two of the five, quercetin and black pepper extract, can alter how certain drugs act in the body.
SynoCell is a dietary supplement. It is no drug and no pain reliever, and FDA has not approved it. It is for adults 18 and over, and it is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
